“A busy physician goes to a gallery on her day off and finds that art is precisely what that doctor ordered: ‘I no longer wanted to escape the world.’“
It’s undeniable that the Art has a strong impact on our life. Out of the Ordinary, Its Existence in beautiful Songs, Poems and Masterpieces has always been alive to people’s spirit. The Art brings us Humanity, which leads us to the Light at the end of the Tunnel. Even a darkest Prisoner’s Soul can be taken over by thousands of Goodness of the Art. Anger, Sinfulness, Suicide can only be stopped once one has realized the Beauty of being Honest. “It’s hard to wrap our heads around why these Spectacles of Beauty can elicit so many different emotions, some of which we may not have even known we had”.
Unless people are not moved by the Deaths reappeared in Paintings, Wars and Violence might not happen. As long as the Light of Life is ON, Heaven truly exists.
The Art is not the only factor which can turn the Light on.
If the Art can make our live, Books can, too.
No one becomes successful without reading books. Warren Buffett read between 600 and 1000 pages per day when he was beginning his investing career, and still devotes about 80 percent of each day to reading. Bill Gates reads about 50 books per year, which breaks down to 1 per week. Mark Zuckerberg resolved to read a book every 2 weeks throughout 2015.
According to The Huffington Post, these aren’t just isolated examples. A study of 1,200 wealthy people found that they all have reading as a pastime in common. But successful people don’t just read anything. They are highly selective about what they read, opting to be educated over being entertained. They believe that books are a gateway to learning and knowledge.
Now I think you can answer the QUESTION: What Does It Means To Have Good Books On Your Own Shelves?
Long time ago, Art, Books and Human-beings made a Deal, which is exactly a Symbiosys. Art and Books help Human gain Knowledge, as long as Human-beings helps them ‘Survive’. Until now, the Circle has never been ‘Stopped’. People read books (the Good ones) as they need knowlege to keep pace with Life. Therefore, the term of ‘READING CULTURE’ was discovered.
Basicly, one’s Personality is formed by many elements. Just like the Art, the Powerfulness of Books is stronger than anything else. For many reasons, What We Read really indicates Who We Are. Good person reads Good Books, which can satisfy their desire for knowledge, while ‘Bad Guy’ reads books that can negatively affect his life. The Foundation of One’s Future is clearly based on What he is doing at Present.
